Views From the Coast

Last month, Michael and I took a scenic three day trip to the beach for our anniversary. We posted the photos here on our blog. One of our video cameras also came along on our trip. And before we could let our vacation end, we spent some time capturing a slice of the beautiful Oregon coast. Most of this footage was shot in Ecola State Park. The music is from Jason Harwell's song called "Declaration Song."

Blast From the Past II

Here's a classic from my photography files. This is my first big project done with my very first digital SLR camera. The Waters' asked me to be their photographer for their summer ceremony in southern Idaho. The bride and groom (and practically the whole wedding party) were friends of mine in college. Some of them were in our wedding. What a way to get your feet wet with a new camera!

Stuff We Like

A friend of mine posted this video on her facebook page and I can't help but share it. I think it shows what pure joy looks like. Not only the couple are bursting with it, but so is the wedding party. And even though we're merely the video viewers, not the creators, we certainly welcome it to our blog. It's received a great response online. It has over 600,000 views in it's first five days on youtube - and here's to many more. Congratulations to Jill and Kevin!

Isabella

This past weekend, we were in Yakima with Isabella and her family. She was so kind enough to wake up from her afternoon nap to have her photo taken. She's got an adorable smile. Here's a few samples from our shoot.
