Memory Lane

Weddings hold so many precious moments. We've been blessed to be involved with several weddings for family and friends as videographers. Here's a taste of some of the projects we have done over the years. Even back in the day, when we had only an old camcorder, it was all about the memories we were capturing.

Looking forward to the next projects,

A Slice of Our Love Story

Nearly a year and six months ago we got engaged. And Michael did a perfect job sweeping me off my feet in a surprise proposal. Earlier that day, he snuck into town without telling me, took my father out for coffee, and asked him for my hand in marriage. My dad gave his 100% approval with a tasteful amount of serious fatherly interviewing. My father then made the arrangements for everyone but me to be out of the house.
So, there I was at my parents house - by myself - eating a piece of toast when Michael knocked on the door. After brushing the toast crumbs off my cheek, he read me a letter he'd written. I caught the sight of a shiny object tied to the paper as he undid the string to hold the ring out to me. There on my doorstep, he got down on one knee, and asked if I would marry him. Yes! I would! And we did - June 21st, 2008. We made this video just a few hours later in a moment of spontanious inspiration. And we sent it to our friends around the country to annouce our engagement. Enjoy!

Kevin and Gretchen Preview

The more we go through the footage of Kevin and Gretchen's wedding, the more we can see how perfect they are for each other. We did a full day of coverage for them - which included getting ready, the photo session, two cameras at the ceremony, and the full reception highlights. This is a video of a whole day of shooting condensed in just a few minutes. We hope you enjoy the preview. *note: video is optimized for the web. Final video is a much higher quality.

Eli's First Birthday

Our Nephew, Eli, turned one this week. He and his family celebrated with friends and family with a dog themed party. He loves dogs - dog was one of his first words. Michael and I were there to capture the fun with photos and video. This is a slice of the action in photos.

A Blast From the Past

Before we became the professionals we are today, we made videos anyway. For this post, I am sharing one of our favorite videos from the past. Michael worked many summers at his summer camp, Camp Tadmor, often as the "video guy." The video features the camp's popular blob. No camp experience was complete with out an epic launch into the lake. This video did a great job summarizing it's epic nature. Enjoy.
